A spacious house with a swimming pool in Limassol is decorated in a modern style with loft elements, which is ideal for owners accustomed to a dynamic life. For the decoration of the minimalist interior, Maria Green suggested light marble, wood, rough plaster, slate, sandstone. These materials mix perfectly, creating a special color that matches the Cypriot atmosphere well. The basis of the color palette was white, which was decided to be complemented with different shades of gray and brown. And for the lighting of the premises, track systems, spotlights and LED strip were chosen.
The center of the house is the light-filled kitchen-living room with panoramic windows. This is a two-tiered space with multi-level lighting and a large corner sofa, which can easily accommodate a large company. The sofa is installed in such a way that, while sitting on it, you can admire the bay. And the wall behind it is decorated with a vertical phytomodule with live plants. To accommodate numerous bottles of wine, Maria Green came up with a unique bottle rack – it is presented in the format of a transparent interior partition. A glass wall with slits for bottles lets in sunlight and unobtrusively separates the living room from the stairs, under which a real winter garden is located.
Among the interesting finds in this project are the black ceiling “Starry Sky” in the home theater and interior paintings depicting animals in the images of aristocrats. The house also has a guest bedroom with a mini-kitchen and a decorative phytocolumn made of stabilized moss. And the most unusual room was the owner’s office, located in the basement. It has room for a spacious bar, and for brutal furniture made of genuine leather with imitation of polished metal with rivets, and for original decorative frescoes with ancient writings. There is no natural light in the office, and the only “window” leads into … the pool.
