Respectable simplicity, natural aesthetics and feeling of lightness and spaciousness — this is exactly what this stylish 2-story house in the Moscow region, owned by a family with 3 children, looks like. This is thanks to the laconic design and complex multi-level lighting, which is implemented using LED strips, track systems, wall sconces and designer pendants made of blown glass and crystal. The original Edison lamps on the facade beautifully illuminate architectural elements and serve as New Year’s illumination. And a real wood-burning fireplace is responsible for the coziness in the cottage.
In the public part of the house, the interior is built on color and texture contrasts, which make the atmosphere dynamic and relevant. Smoothly plastered walls combine harmoniously with corrugated panels and soft panels. And milky and creamy shades – with chocolate and coffee tones. As for the color accents, they are masterfully placed in matte gold. And Maria Green turned the staircase leading to the second floor into a fashionable art object thanks to a glass railing and LED lighting of the steps.
Practical large-format porcelain tiles with a matte metallic sheen and imitation of expensive Sahara Noir and Gray Flower marble were chosen as decoration for the premises, as well as tiles and light engineered boards – they were even used to decorate the ceiling in the living room. These materials give a modern aesthetic and create the perfect backdrop for designer decor in the format of mini-bas-reliefs depicting palm leaves, water lilies and fish.
